Sarah has always had a passion to help others. She initially discovered the practice of yoga while in college studying for her bachelors in social work. Sarah felt how influential connecting with her breath and physical body was for her mental state; she realized that there was something special about the practice that called her to study and share this gift of yoga with others.

Sarah completed her 200 hour teacher training at the Yoga Center of Columbia where she studied alignment based hatha.

Since graduating from YTT, in 2016, Sarah has taken continuing education courses in both yoga and Ayurveda. Sarah feels that it’s important to remain a student in order to stay fresh with her teachings. Sarah aims to create a safe space for her students to get to know themselves more fully. She is a firm believer in not taking yoga (or life) too serious, and keeping things playful. Together with asana, you can be sure to experience the practice of pranayama, laughter, and meditation in Sarah’s classes.
